Mental images

Do you do what I do and have mental images of Literotica literati which are often completely different to what that person actually looks like?

Someone on Lit (who shall remain nameless unless she wants to claim the quote) said that she pictured me as looking like a younger Dr Cox. It's nothing like what I look like, but it's a mental image she has.

Anyone else do this, or am I on my own?

That delicious arrogance knows no bounds, my Boy. I said that after you posted the Cox AV I thought of you when watching Scrubs because the TV persona suited you so (at least you Lit. image, only gathered through your post writing).

I do need you to be good looking of course so don't put your real self up ever if you're not (not that you'd know if you weren't, haha).

On the other hand I recall liking Pops old red devil AV; it suited him per the posts I'd read. Then when he put himself up as Pirate Pops I came a bit unglued, to put it mildly.

Hands up. This is a hijack.

In Douglas Adams's Hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy books there was a man named Prak. Prak had been a witness in the trial of the century, but had been very unco-operative in the giving of evidence, so the court gave him a truth serum. Unfortunately they gave him too much and he started telling The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth.

Every truth in the universe, enough to drive any man who heard it mad. Once it became clear that Prak could not be stopped, the court was sealed up and no-one allowed near it.

When our erstwhile heros find the court, Prak has stopped telling the truth. Apparently 'there's not nearly as much of it as you would think,' and he's forgotten most of it. Apart from the bits about frogs.

The main character Arthur Dent, who has been stripped of tea, cricket, beer and everything else that an Englishman needs and been dragged through space and time in his dressing gown, introduces himself to Prak. The response is:

"You? You're Arthur Dent? The Arthur Dent?" Prak started to laugh. "Boy, compared to you, the frogs aren't even close."

From then on Prak laughs constantly, his entire body racked with mirth at the very thought of Arthur Dent. Eventually Prak dies after his body collapses from 24 hour laughing at Arthur.

You are my Prak. But in a nice way.

And yes, some of the people i post most often with (or against) I do have mental images of, but I doubt they'r eaccurate, save for those who have pictures in their AVs that are changed but appear to be the same people over and over again.
