Years ago when I travelled a lot for work I did exactly that , panties most days but sometimes a bra or even some lingerie…. It was incredible and there was times when I did get inappropriate hatdons…. But never got caught…
 
I actually love a half slip.... sans panties.

Unless you are wearing a thong there is no gentle reminders that you are wearing (believe me, as someone in the closet that has just about busted me a dozen times when I went to undress) but swimming in the silky smooth material of a half slip as it swaddles your bits as you move about.... hmmmmm it puts a smile on ones face for certain.
 
I've tempted my partner into wearing my panties in public. Given him rewards if he did it. He even wore them to a family dinner. It was so arousing for me.
