Men can't vamp

I'm being repeatedly reminded of something here on Lit.

Men cannot vamp. Well most can't. The exceptions are a thin bunch.

And I mean Vamp... as in turn you inside out with a phrase or an innuendo or a blatant bare-assed statement of lust.

Somehow stating how you'd like to plow some poor woman's furrow... but in much more drippingly explicit terms.. seems to lack something.

Oh yes, class.

But what else is a poor boy to do? Maybe it's just because I don't respond to men's hooks, or have confidence in my ability to engender such a response in another...

Opinions anyone?

Any men in here turn you ladies inside out?

It all depends on who is saying it.

There are other people whose words get me every time...not that I would act upon it...but I feel a little jolt when I know they are talking to me. I can't tell you which words...but the feeling is there.

Sugah, let me tell you. If you think that the men here don't vamp properly, you're talking to the wrong ones.

If you're talking about the ability to vamp, the same can be said for both women and men.

It's a gift, really.

As for the phrase that gets me going...
I couldn't pin it down to one buzzword, or one flash saying. The intensity comes from the person, not the words. And while "You naughty little slut, you're all wet for daddy" may sound divine slipping from one lover's lips, it will fall flat when said by another.

I think a person can vamp most when they're being true to their lust, and work with the animal intensity of that.

You must start a relationship the way you want it to continue. Want to appear sexy? Feel sexy. Note the y (which, incidentally, is worth lots of points in literati ;-) ). Get yourself in the right mood when you post. Visualise a setting like a little jazz club, dim lights, the sound of ice in glasses, people talking, a girl's laugh catches your attention as she is caught by a surprise comment and then she muffles it, cuts it off grinning, biting her lip. That's when you turn to the girl next to you sipping her drink and ...


... post something sexy to the boards because now you're in the right frame of mind.

Of course, not every man or woman hunts well. Maybe it's practise. For some people a sexier thing they can do is be prey. It's a two way relationship...

Sex talk on the board does nothing for me, actually, it kind of makes me uncomfortable.

I had never taken that view of the situation before. Most of my recent threads have more resembled a risque comedy with elements of slapstick. Its very likely that I've just been too narrow, viewing things through the pinhole of my experience with such things.
