Click on the user cp button on the top of a Message Board page.
From there, click on the Edit Profile link at the top of the User CP page. A list of information should be available for you to fill in as you wish. One of them is a sigline.
As for giving yourself a title, you must have 1000 posts first. That way, you can tell who the old farts and yakkers are on the board.
