I'm 57, and I happen to like men my age and older.

I'm tempted, but I confess to having never used Silverdaddies. While most of my more recent experience has been with guys close to my own age (just turned 63) , the most awesome sex I've had within the last two years, maybe forever, was with a guy 30 years my junior in Las Vegas (another traveler, not a local).

It just seems that many guys around my age, especially those who are "bi" and married, are flaky when it comes around to getting serious about a real meetup. Maybe part of that is because I live in rural area, where everyone knows everyone, and thus locals are more paranoid. I can't tell you how many "talk the talk" but balk at actually "walking the walk". They come up with excuses, they're no-shows, and some just disappear from the site when talk becomes too serious. Since I've had more luck meeting up with "younger" guys than those closer to my age, I feel like a site that specializes in catering to older guys just limits my opportunities too much.

Over the last decade I've tried half a dozen different gay dating sites, and the only one I've stuck with is Squirt. On Squirt, and especially if I'm willing to step a little beyond my immediate locale, I've been able to find companionship of all ages and have had especially good luck in finding companions when traveling to larger cities...and especially Las Vegas.

One more thing, and call me shallow, but I've also found that the self-desrciption presented by slightly younger guys is more likely to match real life. I don't know when 5' 10" and 220 pounds or more supposedly became "average" or "stocky" for older guys as opposed to the reality of being obese. Come on guys, lets have a more realistic self image.
