Media Loses Interest in Americans Still Left Stranded in Afghanistan by Joke*Biden

It's on the tv right now. Flight from the stan to Doha.

Fuck em though. Shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Even if the State Department won’t give any firm numbers, Sen. Richard Blumenthal will. His estimate of the number of people his own office is tracking — eight hundred — far exceeds any number that State has suggested. Alex Plitsas, a veteran of Afghanistan working to get people out, tells NBC News’ affiliate that he believes over 1,000 Americans remain trapped, and that the number of Afghan allies we abandoned exceeds sixty thousand.

Yes, you're probably using the number from a press.conference a month ago...

Because you don't actually care how many......just a political angle to use

So you've seen a lot of evacuations since then, have you?

How ..any of those Americans want to leave?

CNN gave a whole segment this morning on the Americans still in Afghanistan.

This is one of those "you can't have it both ways" issues. Either Americans have the freedom to make their own decisions (they were told in April they needed to leave and they did/didn't by their own decision) or they have to do what their government tells them they have to do. (Their government told them in April that they needed to leave.)

Perhaps. But since I lack the initiative to actually go there and ask each and every one of them myself, I'm left with believing what those who are there (not you, I presume) say.

Last I looked (a couple of days ago) 38 school kids were still in Afghanistan, stranded by Dementia Joe.

I guess they all wanted to stay?
