Or anybody else. One of my kid's college classmates did a year in the Kingdom on an oil rig. Pay was great, but no Tennessee sippin' whiskey allowed (the young man was Nashville born and bred). So it was off to Bahrain in the Four-Trak for a wee dram (or twelve).
 
A bigger event than one might think as this be a Shia/Sunni conflict and the Saudi's are already suppressing demonstrations at home...the plot sickens...

I read the Saudis were a "Special Squadron" of troops trained in crowd suppression.

I guess the idea was that the King asked the Saudis in to assist. We can't have Fifth Fleet HQ in the middle of a Civil War.
