PHOENIX (AP) — An Arizona grand jury has indicted former Donald Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows and lawyer Rudy Giuliani along with 16 others in an election interference case.
The indictment released Wednesday names 11 Republicans who submitted a document to Congress falsely declaring that Donald Trump beat Joe Biden in Arizona in the 2020 presidential election. It shows seven other defendants whose names were not immediately released because they had not yet been served with the charges.
Former President Donald Trump, his former chief of staff Mark Meadows, and Rudy Giuliani are unindicted co-conspirators in the Michigan attorney general's case against the state's so-called "fake electors" in the 2020 election, a state investigator revealed in court on Wednesday.
During Wednesday's hearing, which was part of preliminary examinations for the so-called fake electors, Howard Shock, a special agent for the attorney general's office, also testified that former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis is also an unindicted co-conspirator.

"Finally, former President Donald Trump?" asked Silverthorn.
"Yes," Shock testified.
How long until Rightguide, Ican, vietater, et al. start whining that there's no law against forging a state's elector certificate, and that there was no victim. And who is the unindicted co-conspirator - drum roll, please - Donald Trump Sr. What a surprise!
The interesting piece of evidence posted by the Arizona Republicans is a video of the fake electors, who posted the video themselves signing the fake documents. It was a surreal moment as though they had no idea that fake meant something could and now is placing them in jeopardy in Arizona's DA's crosshairs.
It takes the 'alleged' right out of the words 'alleged fake electors!"
We don't need anyone to flip. Bowers blew the whistle. There is sufficient evidence to convict.Who will be the first to flip?
Air bnb Mark knows he doesn’t want to serve time, he’s already working a deal I’m sure. He’s most likely the one pulling most of the strings, but he will surely flop right on over.Who will be the first to flip?
Meadows has reportedly been cooperating with the FBI since the beginning, basically. I think he knew his goose was cooked almost immediately after Jan. 6.Air bnb Mark knows he doesn’t want to serve time, he’s already working a deal I’m sure. Cute. I like it.MAGA. Making Attorneys Get Attorneys.
PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities revealed Friday the conspiracy, fraud and forgery charges filed against an ex-aide of former President Donald Trump and four attorneys in Arizona’s fake elector case, but the names of former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows and lawyer Rudy Giuliani remained blacked out. The Arizona attorney general's office released a copy of the indictment that revealed nine felony counts had been filed against Mike Roman, who was Trump’s director of Election Day operations, and attorneys John Eastman, Christina Bobb, Boris Epshteyn and Jenna Ellis.
niceThe lawyers were accused of organizing an attempt to use fake documents to persuade Congress not to certify Joe Biden's victory.
