Communism is rooted in the Continental intellectual tradition of reasoning from first premises, which is what you were describing. Liberalism is rooted in the British tradition of empiricism.

Don't try to bullshit me, I know better. If it has any kind of reasoning whatsoever it would have been "reasoned" to be a failure from the very beginning as it theoretically departs from well understood natural behaviors occurring in human social and economic activity.
