Maybe its better when girls are fat and ugly

As a woman who is thin and considered attractive, should I take offense to your assumption that thin and attractive women are not intelligent? Indeed, no. Why? Because it is apparent that you are lacking the adequate amount of grey matter to make any statements about intelligence. Your little a=b theory is thoroughly reductionist and assumes that all attractive women are thin (and the contrary - fat women are unattractive), and that women's weights do not fluctuate over time ("dumbass" may have been a heffer as a teenager, moron). Your comments remind me of a dude who approached me and a female friend last night at a local bar. After receiving a less than hearty welcome by yours truly, he asked us if we were lesbians. I answered in the affirmative (hoping that the dude would then walk away), even though we're not lesbians. Dude then went on to state that lesbians really pissed him off. I piped in, finishing his sentence by saying, "oh, is it because you now know that you can *never* get a piece of us?" That was it exactly.
On that note, I will leave you with a savory thought: go on hating women 'cause you ain't never gonna get piece of no hot stuff brainy babe like myself, sucka.

"kathleen hanna is not a feminist."

Hmmm. This is interesting.
Very interesting. One doesn't usually see two references to Kathleen Hanna in the same day, eh, Lavy? You thinking what I am? I was wondering why you'd dredged up that other thread from last December.

Oh, and Olivianna, wonderful to see you, darling. It's far too infrequent. You always have something to contribute. Not burning the candle at both ends, I hope.;)

Pinrad, why are the words fat and ugly linked in your mind. I think you would be better served to examine your own rather shallow assumptions.

All things being relative we can only, each of us speak to our individual perferences. I do not care how you pick your partners. I don't care how anyone else does either. Only myself. Mine are based on what is within more then anything external. That is what determines my lust or hunger for sexual congress. In short if you ain't got it inside your soul then you won't be eating breakfast at my house.

You are stereotyping and generalizing. Essentially the hypothesis is this:

"Fat women are smart. Skinny women are stupid. The reason is that fat women studied in high school while skinny women worried about males."

Your hypothesis is completely flawed and here's why.

First of all, intelligence has very little to do with study. The word "educated" would have been more appropriate, though still wrong. Intelligence is a purely physiological thing. You are only as intelligent as your brain will allow. You can become more intellectual or more educated, but your intelligence is written in the genes. Current theory has it that intelligence is passed down from the mother.

Secondly, the hypothesis does not cover societal or psychological factors at all. You neglect to consider self-esteem issues, social pressures, familial pressures, prejudice, or the general view of society concerning fat people. It is a fact that obesity is a disability classified under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Obese people are protected from discrimination.

Here are a few statistics that you might find interesting. Fat people rarely rise above lower management. Fat people are not promoted at an equal rate as their skinny peers. Fat people are paid an average of 25% less than their skinnier peers. Fat people are 30% less likely to get hired than their skinnier counterparts. Fat people are 87% less likely to go on to higher education than their skinnier peers. Fat people are 45% more likely to drop out of high school than their skinnier peers.

All this comes from a study recently complete by the University of Columbia's Sociology Department.

So, to conclude, you're completely wrong. Your theory is based entirely on flawed conjecture and ridiculous social stereotypes that have no basis in reality.

Excellent points, although I fear that the eyes to whom they are directed are figuratively *shut*, but there is always hope, I suppose.

I must be way off base.

I like my women ugly and stupid.

But thats just me.

I posted this mainly to see what sort of reaction I might receive from all of you people on the board. It wasn't the reaction I expected. Remember, I am new here, and still feeling everything out.

Let me give you a word of advice. You may be new here but I'm assuming you are in fact a human being who has feelings and Real World experience with other people.

You can't see our faces here or on any other BB. You don't hear our voices crack or grow deep with anger. You can't see the smiles that cross our lips or the little giggles that escape them. However, here and on every other BB we are all human beings. And even though you can't see it, we do feel it.

Be honest with yourself, what you said in your opening post here, would you say that publicly face to face? Especially to a group that you (by posting here I assume) you are trying to fit into.

What you said insulted ALL women. You told heavy ones that they are ugly and skinny ones that they are dumb as post. This is not the case in the Real World, nor is it here. You were right with what you posted later, you probably will be remembered for this post and not those that may be wonderful.

My suggestion is that you start a new. Make a new name and when you address us, use the same common courtesy you would use in the Real World.
