Wanting normal human/human respect doesn't, to me, mean you're either Domme or submissive. It simply means that you want to be treated as a human being by a human being, and that's something that's nearly universal (except, perhaps, for those "D's" who want to be treated as a god ). I don't believe even those who self-identify as a slave expect to be treated as a piece of online warm apple pie until they've entered into some type of relationship with the pie-poker... usually.

Is that a problem for you?
People change. If you want to be in charge go for it, try, decide if its your thing or not.

The only issue I personally have is finding one single person to fit me. Switches are not always on the same line and Doms/subs cant provide me with all I need.
But then I am not looking for long time love relationship so having 2 or more people at once is quite viable option for me.
