No, it isn't about insurance. I was in the first wave of Ritalin kids. I was a Brat, Champus (military insurance) pays very little towards anything. Marketing is the reason why I was prescribed Ritalin (which I sold to my classmates).
Where is your evidence for this?
Not really, people are prescribed by psychiatrists who give you 50 minutes worth of time per session. It isn't the same as seeing a doctor for the flu.
We obviously disagree on the topic, but for one thing:
You were started on Ritalin?
I would have never have taken you for someone with such a background, even if they say that some kids eventually "grow out of it." What a screw-up to start a kid who doesn't need it, on such a thing.
