Same predicament

I just signed into this thread and it is interesting to note that many of you are in the same predicament as I. Having a wife with no interest in sex, while I at age 55 I feel supercharged and it is getting worse. My wife, about 10 years ago lost interest due to illness and I suspect medications. Three years ago, after 30 years of marriage I began to look elsewhere for satisfaction, including this site. I know it is not right, I don't like it, but one must have some outlet other than Rosy Palm.

I'm sorry for you, 911. I hope you can work it out. It would be bad to lose your wife and the memories of the last 30 years, so, (free advice warning) tread lightly. It would be better if you two could work this out together and it would be something that would deepen your bond.

Sorry to hear about your prediciment. If you do look outside the marriage for some physical relief remember this:

Discretion, Discretion, Discretion!!!

Always keep the two parts of your life separate, never leave a trail, and if it looks like the wife is getting suspicious stop it immediately.

Only if you can do these things should you start looking outside the marriage.

Some of us make it work, but it takes patience and concentration, if you do choose to do it good luck

If I told you (on a public posting) it wouldn't be a secret anymore, now would it? Have you ever heard "Cheaters never prosper" , well it's kinda like that I guess.

I was curious how many married posters/lurkers frequent the boards without the knowledge of their spouses. Do you feel your participation here has positively or negatively effected your marriage?

Personally, my husband doesn't know. I'd like to include him at some point. I guess I'm enjoying flirtation with other men without his knowledge an exciting thing. We've been married my entire adult life. Flirting with other men is something I find I'm craving at this point in my life.

Have read a few stories over the first few months but never been into discussions section before.

1.)Definitely not perverse to be on lit, hope your woman can understand that as well.

2.)I am in a completely open relationship with my wife of 10 years, and we are both extremely happy with our shared sexual freedom. We were not always open, but grew into idea together as a result of good communication, which IS the key to developing a strong relationship (not to sound cliche, but's it true). In approaching any marital issue (including yours), only honest and frank discussion can lead to the mutual understanding that you seek.
