OK, so after literally years of trolling online for an extracurricular partner I've come to the conclusion that online sites lead to online friends, but if I want to have an affair with a real person I need to go to real places. Between the type of work I do and the particulars of my home life, I get no chances to meet eligible women. Where would people suggest is a good place for a married guy to meet an interested married woman?

I hear your pain, but I'd advise you to stick with the online approach all the same. Maybe try Adult Friend Finder or Craigs List. Married women, even the ones who are unhappy at home, tend not to hang out in bars waiting to meet married men; we're too afraid of being labeled sluts and skanks, or seeing someone we know and being horribly embarrassed. We don't take night classes hoping to meet men, or join volunteer organizations. To the outside world we HAVE to look like good wives, especially if we live in small towns or have children or both.
I guess you could always try messing around with someone at work, if you really that horny and/or stupid. Work is the only place I ever meet any new people, male or female, but I would never, ever start an affair there. I like my job.

Very sagacious advice! CL is problematic - seems few are that "real" - some, most definately. But many of the women on there seem to expect money in return. makes it easier I suppose, if that is your thing. Also, very, very hard to find someone you might actually have some connection with besides a desire for sex.
One of the better sites is Plenty of Fish (POF) - there are all kinds on there, those not interested in married men can block them from messaging them so you don't waste anyone's time (theirs and yours).
Of course, the best site is right here, but unfortunately most of the women seem to live in a "land far away"

Yes, the womens ads seem to be scams thats why it's best to make your own ad. Then you can weed out as you like. It's probably the same all over. Hope this helps.
