I wonder how you do that. Branding is an important part of a product, and you had a well known and loved brand. So now you've abandoned that brand and replaced it with a new brand without developing the new brand except to say the new brand used to be the old brand. "Pick up some Pearl Milling Pancake mix." What's that?" "You know, the one that used to be Aunt Jemima." Oh... Aunt Jemima, Ok."

I predict that their sales slump will mirror that of the woke sports franchises...

;) ;)

*chuckle* Proof positive that minorities aren't fit to be the face of popular brand products.

Wow, look at all the cranky grandpas whining about the loss of the good old days of the 1950s, you know, the days before Earl Warren's court issued a decision in Brown vs. the Topeka Board of Education.

I'll send you all a case of Depends through the snail mail so you won't feel so pissy all day. Just think, if your cult fails to take back the results of the last election (as promised by your orange god), turning back time is going to be a rough slog.

I really think when people see racism in innocuous things like this, it reveals THEIR racism. More than that, it accomplishes exactly nothing. It does not make the world more kind and understanding. It does not empower Black people. Of all the issues facing the Black community, this is not high on their list, but it makes racist white people feel like they're helping the Blacks.

The black descendants of the original Aunt Jemima
were not at all pleased that she was cancelled.
Just another example of how white progressives
feel the need to "protect" hapless black people
because they just cannot do it on their own.

:(

So very sad to all of us who are minorities
to think that we are told to stfu by our self-appointed betters...

Sure, people don't mind a bit about being reminded of their enslavement in commercial branding.

And native people didn't care at all that a big grinning Chief Wahoo was the mascot of Cleveland's baseball team.

Whatever you say, Gramps.

It was white people who instigated all of that
just like they tell us to stfu while they talk for us
and settle our grievances just like they put us on plantations, reservations and camps.

We care more about what y'all did to us than the symbols you so proudly eradicate
as if we were statues that needed to be torn down.

I didn't vote for Trump. TWICE. But you're fixated with OMB and virtue-signaling...

Maybe you should go make that argument to the tribes that lobbied for changing the Cleveland logo. Or perhaps try calling the new Vice President "Aunt Jemima".

That might help test your porn board theories.

You are such a hateful person. Why would he disrespect the Office of Vice President of the United States? Your accusations of racism in everything you see reveals the racism and hatred in your heart. This may be hard for you to believe, but black people don't need your help.

Nice thread.

Nothing like the taste of Deplorable tears in the morning.

Hey, I never lifted a finger to change the name of the pancake franchise. And the people on TV this morning who were talking about the Aunt Jemima stereotype were black. They seem to be handling the situation without my help.

Does that upset you, snowflake? :)

I would not be surprised if their marketshare dropped by at least 25%.

I was mostly curious from a marketing perspective. Truth be told, the last time I had an Aunt Jemima product was half a century ago. They are just not very good and there are many other better options. "Aunt Jemima" was an established brand with a long history. I don't think you can simply change the letters on the box and think your customers are going to have the same allegiance to the brand.
It would have been a ballsy move if they kept the name, and changed it to a White woman, kind of like the way State Farm replaced nerdy white Jake with buff black Jake. I would have paid to see that, LOL.

They're catching boo-hoo feels over pancake mix packaging.

By this time next week, this thread will be deep in the mud at the GB thread river bottom where all stupid fake race concern troll threads ginned from headassed white anxieties go to die and all of these bored schmucks will not even remember what they gave a faux fuck over. Just watch. Gonna be like clockwork. :D

No. I'm surprised you still don't get that I care about real problems. Virtue signalling is counterproductive. It makes white people feel better without having to do the heavy lifting. Black people see right through it. And again, I haven't had an Aunt Jemima product in half a century, so I have not horse in this fight.
