Marathon Workouts

2-3 hr work outs? Not in the Army anymore.....I won't do PT on that level ever again.

I give all I got for 30...45 if I'm feeling froggy and when it's done I'm all

He's splitting firewood, not fence rails.

He doesn't fool me for a nanosecond.

Gotta keep the wig-wam!

:D

If it dries a bit, this afternoon I'll be sweating in the garden, expanding it by Mantis.

They liberated my horse and insulted my mule.

I have a car project and a yard project. I think the yard wins today, and the car can have tomorrow.

Them new pipes sound awl kinds of good.

Winter you can work on the car, not so much the yard.

If I do not stay on mine, the forest sneaks up on Forrest.

I had to dig a huge chicken grave yesterday. We've had an outbreak of little sucking bugs in the region that have been taking out all sorts of small critters, especially chickens. We lost half of ours and one rabbit before we figured out what was going on. It is very unusual for this region.

At any rate, I put a white crepe myrtle over them to keep out the dachshunds.

I am killing off the Jungle Section of Wat's yard and putting in next year's vegetable bed. It's raised. I also have a terrace to install for water control.

I may be getting a load of free old-school paving bricks later today. The guy from the city was supposed to pick them up, but he is running out of time. The super said he'd help load them, too.

Stimulus comes in all forms.

I would love to have them!

As we just learned, bricks are no longer cheap.

I would replace a lot of raised garden timbers with those things.

I (think I) have enough paving stones for the bed border and the terrace. The bricks will be for the walk to the back door. The pisser is, there are two types: the very old very thin slightly larger faced ones and the slightly newer thicker slightly smaller faced ones. A bit of sorting and a parting section will make them all usable.

We improvise, we adapt, and we overcome.

I hear some hand tools calling my name.

Either that or they are mocking me by calling me a twat.

Tall ho(e), sally forth (4th), and rally 'round . . . or brick-shaped.

Damn to KoolAid drinkers, full speed ahead.

Hope and chingue!!!
