manchin's blocking of Pres. Biden's economic agenda will see WVa's ACA premiums rocket by over 50% just before mid-terms

Keep Joe or primary him for a republican to win...either way I don't see the difference. Manchin or another Republican it's the same thing really. They'll both vote the same way.
And that's incredibly shortsighted because Manchin is better than any Republican he'd be replaced with.

Synema may be an option to primary, but the answer is more Senators not getting rid of the ones we have already

So admit DC and Puerto Rico as states already. Long past time.

That doesn't solve the problem...it just sidesteps it.

If the Dems can pass some legislation this summer that those two will sign onto, it will be a good thing.

Adding DC or PR won't really matter.

Like what legislation. What would they sign onto that would be even remotely good.

A bill to loosen regulations on coal companies like Manchin's dumping their waste into rivers and streams? A bill making it even more impossible for the government to negotiate drug prices? Those are the things Manchin and Sinema are in favor for. So what's the fucking difference between them and a republican in those seats.

There is legislation codifying Roe he would sign onto. There is plenty of green legislation that he would sign onto. Democrats seem to want all or nothing which is why they'll lose their majority if they continue.

The difference is obviously something you don't see. There's a reason he runs as a Democrat.

There is not one person in West Virginia with an IQ over 90. Generations of inbreeding.
Nah...it is from drinking water laced with heavy metals from mining. We see the same thing in Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee

As someone who votes in WVa.: Manchin is popular because he says no to government spending and boondogles. He's unpopular because he's a Democrat. The handful of Politicians in WVa rotate between private industry, the governorship and the Senate. Manchin will rotate back to private industry when his term is up and Jim Justice will be coronated into that Senate seat.

Not because he's popular, because most in the state have better things to do than worry about corrupt politicans.

The difference is that if Manchin is replaced by a Republican, and all other things being equal, control of the Senate flips.
