Mama Blu's

PSA on THE most bizarre documentary imaginable. Not everyone enjoys documentaries, but even those that dislike them are bound to find something disturbing in this one. It is SO disturbing that they were forced to make a SEQUEL of it (20-minutes or so long) because people couldn't wait to find out what finally happened.

Look for the documentary titled, Tickles. After you see it, go to Youtube and search for the companion piece. You simply will not believe the story - but it is true.

End of PSA. You will now be returned to the regularly scheduled program.

I assume you meant
Tickled.

If not, then you should have.

Wow. Just... wow.

Just watched it and yes Wow.

Well the rain has passed but with all the recommendations, I may have to snuggle up and watch anyway. From the way y'all are responding I wonder if I should be afraid.

Cover Charge Wed 1/2

So let's see who is up for some conversation and drinks! :)

Was having a conversation with an old friend and he said sometimes that just floored me. He claimed that he thinks I will always be unfinished business. I don't know why that struck me as something both incredibly romantic and yet sad at the same time. Don't get me wrong, he and I were over before anything ever began but still it gave me a momentary thrill to know that I had made such an impression. So, cover tonight....

Do you have any unfinished business with someone? Is there anyone that occasionally you stop and think about and ponder "what if?". Who is up to share?

Constantly.

I've even told a few of my regrets regarding not telling them or asking sooner. Nothing bad came of it. Usually I find out they had unresolved feelings for me too.

Oh don't you hate that?! I sat there for a few days just doing the what if thing. Ultimately I don't think it would have worked out but I'm pretty sure it would have been a blast while it was going on. :D

So what can I get you to drink?

Yep. The young lady who threw herself at me when we were, well younger. I was oblivious / couldn't believe it. I often wonder what her life was like.

Scotch please, something smoky. Neat.

Now how did you miss it if she was throwing herself at you? lol

How's this?

Perfect, thank you.

I was a huge nerd in HS the mid to late 70s. I discovered that Caculus could be used to quantify physics and that you could then make a computer crunch those numbers for you. Magic.

No nerdy guys were getting anywhere with women. The evidence said it was unlikely. I learned that, as my dad said, "fortune favours the bold".

Wait....were you one of those "nerdy" guys that underneath you were all chiseled and buff? The male equivalent of "nerdy girl" in glasses. Lol

Nope. Under the nerd was a bigger nerd. Think "defensive lineman" not "quarterback". My only superpowers were that I never got carded at the liquor store, I always had cigarettes and i had a friend who could always get weed.

It was a simpler time...:)

Long Island.

Most would not have worked out at the time. I've been telling them over the past couple of years. I'm more aware now, so it's easier to share my feelings. Plus, most of us are in happy relationships overall, so there is nothing nefarious about it. Just clearing the air.

Ahhh...so you were the kind of need I loved to hang around with. Good to know. ;)

Yeah being in a good relationship does help to kind of work through previous crushes. :)

Experience talking? ;)

Just a little bit. I find it easier to accept why a crush never progressed and/or why it wouldn't have worked because I now know what I needed (because I'm getting what I need). That sounded much better in my head. Lol

No, I don't think I've got any unfinished business with anyone. I had a long chat with my high school crush a few years back though. It was a good talk. We are both happily married, with a gaggle of kids each. No regrets. My life is good :)

Did you confess your crush?

I'm glad you are fulfilled in your life. :)

Yes. We talked about my massive crush on her. And she told me I should've asked her out, she'd of said yes. That was the just of the conversation. More involved of course.

Also, I did try to ask her out once on summer break between grade 8 and 9. She didn't realize I was asking her on a date apparently, and she was stuck at home that night so it couldn't of happened. I was a shy awkward nerd too, so asking that one time was all I had in me :p

Well fulfilled is a bit strong of a word. Lol. I am content with aspects. I know I made the right choice. But sometimes I struggle with what I had to give up to do the right thing. I'm trying hard to not resent it because the truth is, if I had to do it all over again I would make the same choices.

Oh don't you hate that? Lol. I've had that happen a time or two but if you think about (or at least I always put it down to) if they were the right person at the right time, it would have clicked.
