Okay so I found myself cooped up in the house and so I decided to do a little sewing. To be honest, I just saw my pile of fabric growing huge and thought it was time to whittle it down just a bit. I ended up making some pajama pants for the boys and a crate pillow for the dog. They turned out well if I do say so myself.

So, yes, sewing is one of the crafts/hobbies I enjoy. And it makes me wonder about you guys. Do you have any hobbies that you enjoy? That's it for tonight.... that's the cover... is there any hobby that you like to indulge in? Do you have any creative juices flowing in your veins?

Okay, I am openly admitting that I am in a bit of a snarky mood. So for those of you who get your feelings hurt easily, it might be a night to give me a wide berth.

I saw a related quote the other day in the sports section. A coach was talking about a former player who had a troubled career cut short by bad decisions and trouble with the law. He said " . . . is a victim of circumstances, circumstances of his own making." That stuck with me because it really describes someone close to me.

I got ahold of a case of Dogfish Head Worldwide Stout a few weeks ago. It is very high in alcohol and ages very well. I gave some away for Christmas, but will savor the rest over the course of the next year. I also like Oscar Blues Ten-Fidy, Guiness and many others. Hoppin Frog Brewery near me makes some kick ass stouts too.

With Vodka and blue cheese stuffed olives. I suppose here, that would be Blu Cheese.

I usually keep a bottle in the freezer for that very elixir.
