I'm pro feminism because:
1. Men have fucked up this country long enough and a lot of women manage family finances, because men are too busy playing golf, etc.
2. Equil pay for Equil work, women can drive a tractor trailer as well as if not better as men and operate heavy machinery. It doesn't matter! I think women are smarter than us dumb ass men.
3. I'm not intimidated by women being President, It's high time we let the women take control of th USA. It's worked in the UK just about forever!

Hi, my two cents:

Gender pay gap Still exists but I believe it is shrinking as more women become execs and managers and filter reforms down the ladder.

Do men suffer from feminism I wouldn't say suffer exactly but (anecdotally) I've seen (some) women execs load their teams with more women than men. These women were qualified, no question, but part of me wondered if some kind of statement was being made or agenda being pushed.

Women are fit to be president Absolutely. Look at all the countries with women leaders, it will happen here eventually. "Likability" aside Hillary would have been excellent and I was an early Kamala Harris supporter. Let's see her grow as Biden gets older and may push more responsibility onto her.

next topic:

There’s no reason to have an abortion
Only if it threatens the life of the mother to have a viable healthy birth!

In the event of rape or incest. No, give the child up for adoption. I would have adopted, even a handicapped or deformed child.

There’s no reason to have an abortion

In a perfect world there wouldn't be; there would be rigorous sex education so that young people would know not just the mechanics of sex but also when not to have sex; proper use of protection during sex; not be coerced or intimidated into sex. But this is America and many influential leader want to take us even further back than we were. Look at the states where there is only one clinic or no clinics at all, this is done purposely to punish women, especially poor women, keeping them barefoot and pregnant.

On a more personal note, the medical need for abortion will never be legislated or wished away. There will always be cases where it is best to terminate. My wife and I had a baby with severe chromosomal defects and if she lived to term would be essentially a vegetable and maybe live for a year or two, most likely in a hospital and costing god knows how much money. We made a gut-wrenching decision that still grabs me every time I talk about it even though this happened in the summer of 2001. These choices are made between a woman, her family and her doctor. No one else.

I googled male feminism (because I am not sure of the term) and got ‘men in feminism’ so is it the same. Or what does it mean ? I thought it’s men being feminist I.e feminine mannerisms.

And with so many people in the world I think any woman who wants an abortion should be able to have one. There’s too much religious bs involvement as well.

Male feminism in the way I’m thinking is how men feel on issues of equality .. whether they are pro or anti

And that’s exactly the issue … the medical need for abortion.. I don’t think we should be able to pick and choose when we can and when we can’t abort early term pregnancies where it is not yet a viable human and more a cluster of living cells.

What about in instances where all involved took ALL available precautions to not get pregnant and a pregnancy still happened. both parties do not want this child.

So you think women that are victims of rape and/or incest should be the given the option to terminate their pregnancy?
Yes. I Am Sterile, & My Wife is Barren.
We would, have tried to adopt an unwanted child. We were both in the medical field, her a RN and me a EMT PARAMEDIC. I would sell my soul (if I had one) to have children

You would force a woman who had the trauma of rape and incest to carry that baby?

No, no, no! I would only adopt that type of child to prevent it going into the system.
rjr, paying better attention to what you're posting will prevent you having to contradict yourself. A reader can only form an opinion of your position via reading what you actually posted.

what prevented you and your wife adopting? (don't answer if you prefer not to)

There a plenty of women who chose to give up their babies without forcing women who don’t want to … I’m sure.
I would NEVER force any woman to go that route. We didn't adopt was because I had untreated depression at that time and I was an asshole.

ah, you already answered. and it's a pretty good reason why they wouldn't allow you to adopt, not till you got your mental wellness under balance. as for the arsehole-ness, well, that's a bit of a problem.
