Make a haiku

Just five syllables
Followed by just seven more
Then a final five

Odd that seventeen
Syllables have ample space
For an artist's brush

Constant amazement
Each word carefully crafted
I strive to compete

I am an addict
Counting out my syllables
Avoiding my work:D

Through hazy daydreams
I flit o'er streams and oceans
Adventures abound

***

My body is still
Mind endlessly searching for
Mental nourishment

***

Your thoughts invade me
Like tracing fingers inside
Memorizing me

Trace the crooked cracks
Dirt lightning bolts on pavement
So hard, so broken

***

Erratic in flight
How I envy the sparrows
Their boundless freedom

***

Tiny grain of sand
A speck in a vast desert
Still can blind an eye

Dirt lightning bolts on pavement
So hard, so broken

***

Erratic in flight
How I envy the sparrows
Their boundless freedom

Tiny grain of sand
A speck in a vast desert
Still can blind an eye

Awesome PL1 - you are a haiku !machine! :)

No time to compose here today for me, so far that is.

Lol, thanks. Not putting a lot into the construction beyond making them in the correct format. but as always, thank you. Have a great evening, honey. :rose:

For my Goodreads friend.

As she emerges
From a prison of marriage
She becomes stronger.

Verdant coloured leaves
Mean new life, new happiness
Green shows she's online.
