Make a haiku

wheels on the gravel
washboard road spinning up dust
giving form to light

clouds of dirt arise
hastening from rain's curtain
running for cover

thirsty and deprived
the trees crackle and let loose
flakes of old parchment

fallen cordovans
drifting umbers and crimsons
roiling tree droppings

confetti piled high
end of the summer party
raked up to be lit

I like your style -- try this

bright delicacies
impossible colors fly
Autumn confetti

i enjoy yours as well...i'm off for now though, hope to catch you again

muted browns and greens
command the artist's pallet
autumn lacking paint

full somber approach
chilled atmosphere lingers long
first frost awakens

pallets piling up...
this year's holiday build. ah,
the joys of retail

hillsides full ablaze
ignition despite the chill
fall colors on parade

gray blankets the sky
wrapping us in stormy hope
sending wind to tease

knee high mists aswirl
drifted up from sun-parched earth
meadow walking dawn

fallen scarlet hands
burnished bodice carved and old
maple tree autumn

leaves dance spiraling
errant clumps of brown twisters
i follow their storms

moistened treasure trove
clumped at first embrace of light
grass reawakens
