Mel Gibson to start shooting "Fury Road" next may in the 4th Mad Max flik

I thought Beyond Thunderdome sucked...I hope they get back to the gritty basics again...

This is the first I have heard of it. Its a terribly flawed trilogy as it currently exists.

Mad max has not aged well at all and seems rather tedious now.

The Road Warrior was and is one of the best movies of its type. Its got cool characters, great action sequences, and has held up perfectly.

Beyond thunderdome was lame and prolly should not have been made.

Road Warrior was the best of the series, Thunderdome sucked. Not sure how they can recapture the mood of Road Warrior.

they need to NOT include any cute characters. Somehow using unknowns works best...no big stars to play the evil villian (though they will anyway).

I hear Raiders 4 is in the works too!
