lyterotica.com?

NO, it is NOT a part of Lit! It is a scraper site with a really sketchy redirect if you try to click on anything. Knowing the risks, I went through an anonymizer, which the site trapped. I'm not going to check the likely malicious link any further than I did.

I did find two of my stories stolen.

Registrar is in Iceland, which I guess means nothing these days. IP links to Cloudflare, and I won't get on my soapbox about Cloudflare.

There's nothing wrong with taking a whack at some of these sketchy story stealing sites with takedowns when they hork your stuff every once in a while, but don't let it dominate your thoughts all that much. Odds are that for every one you find, there are a half-dozen more that you don't know about yet. Cue Red Skull. Cut off one head, two more shall take its place.

Every moment you're spending on chasing down these places is a moment you could be musing, writing, editing, or something else productive. ( Not to mention potentially exposing your system to malware every time you open one of those sites. ) You're never even going to make a dent, and most of these sites will die in fairly short order because A) they don't make enough money from whatever shady ad scheme they have running B) They get taken down by the registrar, host, etc. for policy violations C) they get blacklisted and their traffic instantly vanishes because most anti-malware software won't allow the site to be opened.

It's a never-ending game of whack-a-mole.

I can't get the site to act right, then google said the url is unavailable.
