The Last Tear Drop To Fall

Dedicated to the abused children

Tear's silently fall from her blue eye's,
In the dark praying up to the twinkling skies.
Full of fear and pain,
Rubbing her tiny hands over blood stain's.
Wondering why she was so bad,
Always making daddy so mad.
She just wanted to be loved,
Maybe daddy would be happy if she lived up above.
What if God didn't want her?
Her little heart and body so tortured.
She tried to be good,
Was there anyone who understood?
In the middle of the night the angel's came to call,
This was her last tear drop to fall.
In the wind you can hear her say,
Daddy I will see you another day.

my maniac room mate is one of those mothers, with the help of DCF we were able to talk her into adopting the sweet lil angel to a great family. I cannot understand why do they hurt those special little angels who grow up to be wonderful angels. I was to protective of my kids. I would jump through a firey lake to save them

I am glad it touched your heart and I hope if my writings on child abuse touches enough hearts more people will get envolved in saving a child from the abuse and death that those suffer from the hands of those who gave them life. :rose:

Unopened Door
by WyldBreeze

The gentleness of your lips upon my skin,
Gentle as the morning dew settling on forget-me-nots.
Your searing gaze as you claim me as your own,
Burning, inflaming, like the fiery sunset of a summers' evening.

The sound of your voice calling my name in primal release,
Reaching the depths of my war-torn soul,
Engaging it with your battle cry,
Declaring victory over the cold and darkness.

Your presence, the very key to this unopened door,
This door long ago shut and locked by pain and loss,
Protecting my heart from losing again,
Yet barring life and love as well.

Will you be the one to open it?
Only time will tell.

Once you had me

Once upon a time you had me,
Yet constantly you made my heart bleed.
Your love was nothing but cold greed,
Your hands upon me made me see.

You will not acccept my rejection,
Yet you showed me nothing but deception.
Thankfully through your seed there wasn't any conception,
What has happened to your perception?

I do not want to be your whore,
Nor do I love you anymore.
You killed me with your spoken sword,
Now you say you must even the score.

Let me go please,
Your love is like a poisonous breeze.
I will never return to your disease,
I will escape should I be seized.

we never know the reasons... so many variables...
but not one child deserves to be hurt, that's for sure...

An Ocean Away...A World Apart
by WyldBreeze

The call came in the middle of the night,
The call to duty, the call to fight.
He packed his bag, ready to depart.
Just an ocean away, yet a world apart.

The comforts of his homelife would soon be gone,
Traded for a life in the hot, dusty sand.
Family and friends he left behind,
To protect their freedom and homeland.

The final day came, a day of fate.
He and his comrades fell.
An innocent child, a car, a bomb,
In a moment, a living hell.

He bravely died doing what he was born to do,
Performing his duty with all his heart.
Protecting those he cherished and loved,
Just an ocean away, yet a world apart.

~For Brad Lee

Do you remember ?

Do you remember ? I start to say
Only to hear my voice trail away
I forgot yet again
You’re not there at my side
The memories to share
Now lie silent, denied
Where you laughed and loved
Is a huge empty void
That swallows all sound
Rage and sorrow in darkness, bound
The love you shared
The laughter and the living
Bright memories you left
They help me keep going
Each one gratefully held
Your love is still my guiding light
:rose:

Just to Say Thank You

Just to Say Thank You

My heart has needed you so
Your love has oiled the rusted hinges of my empty heart
Your smile has brighten its' darkness
Your kiss has started the fire that was out
Your sweetness has cleared away all the old pain
Your tender touch makes my heart race as a yearly colt
Your sparkleing eyes have made my heart see the world anew
Yes, My love my heart has needed you so
