Hello Lustful Thank you for your invitation to post and for your help with the last few lines of my contribution, I appreciate it a lot


I miss him.

For more than half my life you were there
The last thing I saw each night
My reason for smiling each day
My best friend, my lover, my rock
Never judging, always supporting
Keeping me safe in your love
Warm in your embrace
The plans we made for our old age
Are mine alone to keep.
The world seems an empty place now
Your loving memory and our plan carry me through
I will always love and miss you.

you know its there
but you cant see it
you can feel it
but you cant control it
its grips you tightly
but caresses you gently
it touches everything
and changes everything
but is nothing
without someone to feel it.

I am captured once again by the depth of feeling within your words. I feel the pull of sadness... perhaps that which remains of a love lost... or love never realized? Mayhaps I read too much into your words... but that is how the feelings from them, and within them, are felt.
