Lucky Rabbits Foot

Do you have a good luck charm? Do you have a babble that just seems "lucky" to you?

I have six or so feather up on the top shelf of my book case... along with that, I have a bottle almost filled with small pollished stones of all colors and types. I've got a large quartz crystal, a small orb and all sorts of little good luck charms.

Part of the reason I collect such things? They make me happy. Maybe that's all the good luck I really need.

Sometimes I think it's good luck to wear my cross, but I really think it inhibits my ability to get laid....

And there's the necklace my grandmother gave me, I used to think when I was wearing it she was watching over me.

But these probably have more to do with my own psyche than any good luck.

I have a four leaf clover I found as a kid.

I keep it in the picture section of my wallet. I have swiched wallets a hundred times since I found it but I always transfer the plastic picture section from one to the next. I am sure if I tried to remove it the clover would just turn to dust.

I got this rock... Don't remember when or where I picked it up. But I had it in my pocket when I got the job down here in Charlotte... Now it is always in my pocket.

I always figured that a rabbit's foot didn't give the rabbit any luck! I do wear good luck rings on my index and middle finger. One is the Celtic loop design indicating the interconnection of life. The second ring is seven skulls indicating the seven days of the week, any one day could be death. I put them on everytime I leave the house. On my motorcycle, I have a medicine bag with protection stones, and a brass bell that keeps road gremlins at bay. I guess everyone develops a habit of luck over the years of life, probably based on what works, and what doesn't.
I still knock on wood!

i don't really have a lucky item...but i do have this weird belief..."if you want it to happen....don't talk about it.....i'm serious..you might jinx it.." i also have this weird routine when i watch sports..it's kind of a mix between a magical chant..and a cheer...it involves a cherry sucker and some intense concentration...

Its some thing my mom gave me , its a small rosary she had for a long time and now its mine.

It brings luck in my eyes.

Heh. I've worn a unicursal hexagram for the last two years, and a pentagram for the three years before that (it broke ). I don't really look at it as a good luck charm, but rather as a reminder.

I think good luck charms only bring good luck because they make the owner happy.

i have an old indian spear point hanging on my rear view mirror and i wear a silver one on a chain aound my neck...

i have a medicine bag hanging in my wood shop with a variety of baubles in it..

That's magic Dhalgren, I wore one for years and loved it. Lost it in the ocean - the Atlantic.

Only last week I was playing scrabble in French and I put down ankh - a real winner and they wouldn't allow it.

Also I'd five kids after I lost it. Mind you one is named after the daughter of Oceanus - I'd not ever thought of that till now.

I’ve worn this ancient symbol of eternal life since I was 15. It was consecrated the same time I was as a Wiccan.
(I was born and raised a Pagan)

You know, people ask if they can touch it all the time..and when I know that person is a positive one, I do allow it.

People tell me it glows..

The thing is..I’ve put so much power into this ankh..as much as I do in my own familiar..
The truth is, I would feel the exact amount of pain if I were to loose either.
