I heard a low-pitched inhuman growl from the side of my bed last night.

It startled me so much that I couldn't sleep for several hours after that and slept with the lights on.

No, it couldn't have been my cats, because they were sleeping in the other room and the door to my bedroom was closed.

There have been strange and inexplicable sounds in my bedroom such as pops, scrapes, and scratching on my walls.

yes, an inhuman growl because growling is something that humans do as well and it thus requires clarification.

Either you left the vibrator on, or you have some killer bed bugs.

Probably just a masturbation fantasy that took on a life of its own.

It's the ankle grabber. Keep your feet under the blankets.
