'Loving wives'='Cheating wives'???

Balls, yes I know the difference between love and sex.

At any rate, a story I wrote years ago (for a friend at Lit that requested the tale based on his real fantasies) about cuckolding was loving and a shared fetish for the couple.

which is the complete opposite to what I'm talking about. Stay on topic

There are some truly great stories about swinging, sharing, and even cheating that feature fully loving spouses. The problem I have with the cheating and especially the cuckolding stories is that so many of them have no love at their core. (So, maybe "so many of them do not" have love in the tale, but some do.) They tend to center on selfishness instead. You can have cheating spouses who also love...

And what I said about my cuckold story was the fact that it was a shared fetish between a loving couple.

Get the fuck off your high horse. My post was "on topic". Thanks.

Waaaaaaaait a minute. Who told you I liked getting off on horsies? Was it your mom?

Actually, we seem to be miscommunicating. I agree with you on your fetish story because it involved a loving relationship. My frustration is with stories in loving wives that do not feature loving wives at all. The point is love, not fetish.
Like I've said earlier in the thread, I do not care about people's sexual arrangements. They can fuck whoever, whenever and in any combination they choose, because love is unnecessary for fucking or for fetishes. However, I'm puzzled by the lack of loving wives in many loving wives stories. Most of the time, I find the stories are about unloving wives instead. The sex is irrelevant.

What the hell's going on with that section? It seems that at least 2/3 of those stories are about 'loving wives' cheating on their husbands, putting the onus on the husbands to forgive their wives. Shouldn't there be a 'loving husbands' section for those stories?
When the hell did 'loving wives' = 'cheating wives'???

I had a friend (she moved back up north), but after 18 years of her husband asking for a 3some, she finally did...and loved it! men go ape over girl on girl so what is when when a girl wants 2 guys? some women like the idea of a wife watching the "husband" giving a blow job. some women want to have another man after the first lover is finished....

does a wife having a lover have to be cheating?

Now you're comparing apples and oranges.

Cheating=Cheating

Having a lover=Having a lover

well I think a lot of men love to watch sex...i.e. porn and that most husbands have fantasies about watching the wife with a lover. i get a lot of crap for my stories even if a husband is watching and its a loving relationship. yeah, cheating is when the other doesn't know but some still call it cheating when the relationship is open

Then we're on the same page.

3 Days of Watching my Wife Fuck http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=412850 is one of my favorite stories because both partners know what's happening and are participants.

The category was started years ago with the understanding that Loving=Fucking. Get over it.

Get over what? A decision made years ago, the results of which have caused misunderstanding and frustration over time? I only masturbated as a kid before discovering pussy. Afterward, should I just 'get over it' (i.e. it=pussy) and stick to masturbating only? Hell no!

If loving=fucking, 'wives fucking' makes A LOT more sense. Less ambiguity and better communication that way. I would support 'wives fucking'

Now that's mature.

Perhaps we were miscommunicating. It seemed you "attacked" my post about my old story when you said "stay on topic", yada yada.

By the way, just because a couple or person has a fetish doesn't mean "they're not loving" or whatever.

Again, we're in agreement. You just repeated the substance of what I said earlier, BUT under the assumption that we disagreed. That assumption is false.

Assuming:
love=love, which is the opposite of unlove.
sex=sex, which is the opposite of unsex.

When I said "Stay on topic", I meant "The topic I'm on is love, not sex. Steering the discussion toward sex is missing the point, because I'm comparing love and its opposite (unlove). Sex is neither the opposite nor the same as love. I am not comparing love with sex because the two are not comparable."

I've always steered clear of writing for the Loving Wives Category, because firstly I know how much flak the writers there take and how infuriated the readers can get. The second reason I havent posted there is because I've never been really sure exactly what readers want and expect from the category. But I've had some inspiration and in the process of wanting to write across many categories I have a story developing that could go into this category. However, here's the question, would people there actually read and be satisfied with a Loving Wives story that does not include cheating or husband cuckolding? Would the idea of a couple where the wife was an exhibitionist, and where this exhibitionism enhances their own sex life be considered reasonable for such a category or should I take it straight to the Exhibition/Voyeur category?

When the story is done and ready for submission I'll definitely have a warning note that there is no cheating and cuckolding in it and hopefully that will have those keen on that back clicking. But do you think there will be those that actually read on?

They will read on and vote one because it is not exactly what they want.

The loving wives readers are all alot bent in the head, some only want a cheating wife who gets pregnant, gets caught beat up and then left by both men. Some want a wife cheating on her husband, depriving him of sex and shoving her sex in his face. There are actually some who want a wife who is faithful to her husband, not very many though.

hey... I'm a huge LW reader!

its fun to write those stories...and to "interview" some couples that are open. I can totally see why a man wants to watch a woman having sex....women are so freaking sexy in bed, the way her body moves, the shape of her body, and when she's aroused is there anything more erotic than the scent of a woman? her lips wet with arousal? that first taste?

I'd like to "interview" some of the advid readers/voters to said category to see what makes them tick. What do they want? Why do they vote the way they do?

I have/had an "essay" submission (not finished) called Loving Wives: What Does it Mean on Lit? that maybe one day I'll finish and submit. lol Doubt I'll get feedback on it, though. (Within my essay I ask those readers to please give me their feedback and answer my questions. But, I doubt those readers cross over into the Reviews & Essays category at Lit!)

cheat (cht)
(verb) cheat·ed, cheat·ing, cheats

1. To deceive by trickery; swindle: cheated customers by overcharging them for purchases.
2. To deprive by trickery; defraud: cheated them of their land.
3. To mislead; fool: illusions that cheat the eye.
4. To act dishonestly; practice fraud.
5. To violate rules deliberately, as in a game: was accused of cheating at cards.

To cheat is to break the rules. If the rules say wifey can fuck other men, then it is not cheating.

It is cheating according to that definition in many if not most of the stories in loving wives.

Probably should have asked this awhile ago, but for a guy that's such a stickler about things being categorized correctly, why the hell did you post this thread in the "Story Ideas" forum? There's no story idea here. Either "Story Feedback" or "General Board" would have been more appropriate.

Good question!
Well, the simple answer is that I'm new to the site and still learning the 'ins and outs' of the place. ;)

I beleive he is saying something we all knew already anyway. ;)
