Well "Kewl" in the gamer sense is usually treated as a different word than "Cool". "Cool" normally has the regular connations it's had for several decades now. "Kewl" on the other hand, normally implies a sort of juvenile sense of coolness normally found in 8 year old boys, and generally implies a fascination with violence and destruction.
