Love, Lust, and Friendship

Count me as one who feels very lucky to have finally met the man of my dreams. We met on a blind date 4 years ago & have been together ever since. I never dreamed anyone like this would ever be a part of my life. It hasn't been easy for us, but we have worked hard at staying together. He has stood by my side through the worst thing that can happen to a mother, loss of her child. We are in tune with each other & he is one of the few people who make me feel that I can go on living. He has been amazingly patient with me as I work through my depression. Our sex life has suffered due to my depression, but he is helping me through it, willing to put my needs first.

Is a soulmate neccessarily for the rest of your life? Or can it happen for a short time? Or did I just confuse everybody?

For me, it is for the rest of my life. When I see myself in the future, I see myself with my special guy. I don't know if that would work for everyone, but I can't imagine my life without him.

I don't know if it is but I cannot see myself ever being without him.
