I am going to date myself here, but does anyone out there remember the LOVE IS...cartoons? If so,what is one of them that you remember? And why has it stuck in your head all these years?
About 2 weeks before my 27th BD, I found one that said
"LOVE IS..."
"Remembering she's 27...every year!"
Ever since then, I have been 27 and the kids all tease me about it. They have gotten so they add .17 after it. Their code for 27+17=my age. It's a Family joke now. This past summer my oldest grandson and I were talking about how old I was, He asked me how old I was going to be on my next birthday,and I told him 27. He sat there and looked at me for a minute and said "Gramma...My DAD'S OLDER than you are!!" I had to laugh. A few days later he told me that he knew I wasn't really 27. I asked him how he knew and he told me "My Mom told me that you were teasing me."
Sorry for rambling...but I thought it was cute.
