Lost

Libby was Hurley's love interest. In flashbacks, she was at the mental hospital he was in. He didn't seem to remember her from there though.

Saheed's gf was that bitch of a sister that Boone had. She was seen in this last epi in full bitchy mode. I wanted her to die.

Oh right, I forgot about Hurley's love interest. Also, I think Shannon was much less of a bitch when Sayid was giving it to her.

True. We all need to be well fucked after all. One can get awful snippy with out that. Or, you know, it could be that "love" stuff.

:D

Her character was still a horrible bitch.

You're stranded on a deserted island with apparently little hope of being rescued, what else is there to do??

It was more of a Twilight Zone episode than a Lost episode. And it disposed of two highly irritating characters, so it had that going for it.
I tend to agree. I felt like I was watching a different show with the Lost characters in it. Not an awful show, but only sort of "Lost".

I did kind of enjoy seeing all the dead characters who were killed for plot reasons (rather than contract/behavior/better things to do issues) back in the flashbacks.

Do we think those two are going to stay dead? Buried alive is hardly a final sentence, especially on LOST.

Tying up the "Sun, we kidnapped you thread" was just that... a quick tie off. I imagine it will never be mentioned again.

As far as "filler" episodes go, I give this one a weak pass. Lost continues its trend of giving me just enough not to give up entirely, but not enough to feel satisfied.

tonight's episode...

‘Left Behind’
Kate must fend for herself in the jungle when she discovers that one of her own has betrayed her; Hurley warns Sawyer to make amends with his fellow castaways or face possible banishment.

I have been seeing the previews on television.

And they are advertising it as ' The jungle is going to rumble' or some thing along those lines.

I am liking how Freckles just goes crazy on Juilet!!

So after tonights episode I got to thinking about the others. Ben claims to not understand how things like Locke's Dad showing up happens and Juliet claims they don't know what the Black Smoke is, anybody buy that. She seemed genuinely frightened of it but I have to think with all the venturing out past the fence they do, they either do know what it is, have control of it or have some other defence against it.

Like the look of next weeks show, I think Sayid's heading down a dark path, almost like he's feeling left out and has had enough.

I was finally able to catch up on the last few weeks of episodes. Maybe because I've been busy, maybe because I watched them back to back or maybe it's a bit of both -- I enjoyed them.

I liked the "filler" episode, it explained those two characters that they thrust on us this season. For all intents and purposes we saw their beginning and end, oh I'm sure there'll be little snips along the way with more of them, but it wasn't a horrible episode.

The black smoke monster thing that hit the fence was neat. Locke has become a disappointment (sorry, PC!) and Sawyer, whom I hadn't care for much before this season, has become appealing.

Next week looks interesting but it'll probably be another couple of weeks before I get to watch it. heh

Why is Locke a disappointment?

He's just been such a bitch. Sure I understand his desire to stay on the island but you don't fuck over your friends.

Locke is still one of my favorites. I've always liked him and I think there's more to his story than has been revealed. His character hasn't been as strong this season than in the last two, unfortunately.

The question remains, even if Locke hadn't blown up the sub, would Ben have let them off the island? He was pleased that Locke took care of his work for him.

I hope there is more to the story!

I liked Locke but I think this show is now in the business of making characters unlikable.

I think Locke's character is more appealing because of the different phases he has gone through since coming to the island. The other characters don't seem to have as much depth to them.

I'd agree with that.

Well, for me, all that stuff going on makes him kind of interesting. Personally,I think Locke and Kate have the best stories.

Locke, Kate, and Eko (I miss my Eko!!!) have excellent story lines. Desmond is also becoming a favorite for me.

But what if your whole life you have been searching for something, answers, meaning, happiness and you finally come to a point where you find it, what would you give up for it? Would you worry about others more than yourself, what if you feel like you have been sacrificing for everybody else, been taken advantage of your entire life and you've finally had enough, would you really worry about "friends" you never knew before 3 months ago? Especially taking into account that you've been told all about everybody else's shaky backgrounds.

Told by people with their own shaky, not to mention questionable, backgrounds ?
