Lost

It looks like ratings have dropped since last season and have dramatically dropped from when the show was introduced. That said, I believe they won the night, which hopefully will save this show for us for a couple of more years.

My life would end if they cancel this show mid-way through without answers.

if you read the article that the lovely tat posted you'll see that they're trying to find an end date for the show so that they can start planning stories to lead up to the end that'll finish it.

Lost is LOST

The bastards start a nice show, then give us a 5 month hiatus, start the new season in October, take another 3 month hiatus until Febuary, and expect us to all come back and watch like nothing happened? And put it Thursday night against 5 other hit shows?

I can't even remember what was happening last year, or the last time it was on, or why everything is fragmented and makes no sense any more.

Come on, assholes in Hollywierd, just end it so we can go watch Grey's anatomy and CSI.

Was this a joke? Thank you for bringing up CSI, it reminds me of just how good Lost is compared to a lot of the crap that's on TV.

Lost and Family Guy are the only network TV I can be bothered to watch anymore. I find American Idol bland (ok, so making fun of the bad singers can be sort of fun). Deal or No Deal should be renamed "Let's flip a coin!". CSI is terrible. It's a truly, truly bad program. The "science" is usually so bad it's funny. Grey's Anatomy is ok, but it's too much of a "chick show" for me.

I did rather enjoy the first episode of Brothers and Sisters, and Ugly Betty does seem pretty good. I have plans to Netflix both of them when they come out on DVD.

Thank god I have the internet, the place to be entertained.

Episode for tonight...

10:00PM EST

Flashes Before Your Eyes
A suspicious Hurley enlists Charlie to help him drag the truth out of Desmond, who has been acting strangely ever since the hatch implosion.

At 9:00PM they are replaying the episode from last week.

That sounds interesting

re

Apparently the Lost writers have been watching the Final Destination saga during the lay-off.

OK, that was unexpected.

This brings back when the hatch did explode, remember those two guys in that igloo that called Desmond's girlfriend and said "we found him". What was the story there?

I have no idea what is going on now, I didn't before, but even less so.

I do think they are back on track however. It's a good show again.

For those of us not familiar. What?
The theme of those movies is death catching up to you, if you somehow manage to escape your "time to go". As in Des rescuing Charlie twice, but death will eventually catch him.

I got sort of a ,"enjoy the moment", or "go for it" when you have an opportunity/take risks, vibe. It felt like there was too much message involved in this show. I'm glad they got back to the island but it felt like the second team with Kate etc being the first team. I do love the show and I am looking forward to next wednesday when we get " the answers". yeah right!!

Answers maybe, but more questions arise, watch!

I'm sorry, what? Your glute dimples momentarily distracted me.

I thought for sure somebody would have said, "Lost has writers? You're kidding!"

Episode for tonight...

10:00 PM EST

Stranger in a Strange Land
As Jack and the Others engage in a power play, Juliet's future is hanging in the balance; Kate, Sawyer and Karl (Blake Bashoff) continue on their flight from “Alcatraz.”

I also found this on TV Guide.com...
Mother of mercy, is this the end of Charlie? Desmond doesn't think the the poor bloke has much of a future, but that's for another time. Tonight, Jack's back in the spotlight (on the Other island and in flashbacks), and “three of Lost's biggest mysteries are finally revealed” (or so the promo at the end of last week's episode teased). Maybe Jack's tattoos will tell some tales since Bai Ling guest stars as a tattoo artist. — Paul Droesch

I don't like that theme but I was happy to have the focus away from Jack, The Others and Kate.

It was an interesting show...but no Sawyer! That's just...wrong.

He is the only one who hasn't been crying and sniveling since the "others" took them. I agree, it's wrong!!!

I have tonight's show taped. I'm not too excited about seeing Jack, Julia and Kate again but I'll get to it in the next couple of days.
