Lost

How freaky was the psychic the other nite?? Does this mean he knows she and the baby are going to be ok???

New theory, does the baby have something to do with the mysterious cure to the disease that they may be catching???

While I personally think this is less Sixth Sense & more Castaway ... your theory could be supported by the fact that after two weeks in the sun, none of them have sunburned and the men aren't getting very scruffy.

it was a thought, I dont know how you have a lasting TV series about dead people, but then again, 8 Simple Rules seems to get away with it!!!

The previews for "the most dramatic episode" of Lost refer to the castaways as the survivors of flight 815 ... sorry for those of you who thought they were corpses.

The producers and writers for Lost reads Lit and knew about the theory some of y'all were floating around!

johnny,

Every one seems to be thinking that they are either dead and are in some sort of transition or that its just a big dream.

I am still going with the survivor thing ... or maybe their plane went somewhere over the Bermuda Triangle!

I have so many silly theories I amaze myself ... :)

Me too. It's a Castaway/Swiss Family Robinson idea at the core. A chance to begin again & create a new society.

My theory is the people were all gassed by a terrorist on the plane and the whole scenario is some bizarre experiment of mind control by some lunatic scientist.

or...

they might be doing an island production of Bahli Hi...

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Once again my theories are ignored

Ive missed it the past few weeks and now feel confused about what's happening....altho, they never really tell us what's happening anyway *shrug*

like like to muff dive you!

when i thought Chalie was dead I almost swore the show off completely. As much as I enjoy the show and how unusual it is for network TV, Charlie and Sawyer are the only two characters that are even marginally interesting by themselves.

yeah, but, Charlie is the only person that's been in a big budge, well known movie. Well, like in the last 10 years. heh

So I kinda expect that he would go, I'm glad it turned out like it did even if it wasn't really much of a shock.

While I can't see what his LOTR status has to do with anything, I don't see them killing Charlie. He's the archetypal "screwed up kid brother" wanting to be like "cool, heroic big brother" i.e. Jack.

All the main characters are filling out a basic social structure: doctor, soldier, hunter, artist, construction worker, pregnant female, independent female, immigrants, siblings, grifter.

We assume this is set in present time, or a very near future. Perhaps the "other people" are some sort of thieves. Modern day pirates, smugglers or :O hollywood villains.

Given Locke's healed legs and Jack's father's empty coffin, if somebody dies, will they stay dead?

Do we know how long Locke was in Australia? I like the guy. I initially thought he'd be "the spiritual" castaway.

Jack's dad, Christian, on the other hand .... he seems to be a dick on every show he plays on: ER, 24, Lost.

I noticed tonight, Kate looked more buff than normal. She could play "escaped convict" in my backyard anyyyyyyday.

I liked the way Sawyer narrowly bonded with Walt and Sayid.

Some actors seemed cursed to play dicks. My current favorite is Chris Ellis. (partly cos I used to work with him.)

Locke usually is "the dick".

Ref: The X-Files, Alias, Stepfather, that really depressing X-Files spin off with Lance Henriksen.

If you mean the Chris Ellis from Apollo 13, The Watcher, October Sky ... that's kinda cool. I like his work.

I'm leaving now so that you guys won't spoil it for me out here in the west.

Should be interesting.

Yep, that's him. Also in Planet of the Apes. He and I did some Shakespeare together in Memphis. He's a hell of a swordsman, too.

Still an actor?
