The meme started yesterday about Trump and the military, is total bullshit. The Chairman of the JCS said the other day the United States military has no constitutional role in the outcome of the election. So, take a nap.

the man's a collossal liar. perhaps his supporters ought to be more concerned about how easy it is for everyone else to believe this story (true or not) all because of his public behaviour seen time and time again.

Yes, the poll number I saw just a few days ago was 41 percent positive for Trump. I come from a military family. Who the hell in the military is dumb enough and with so little awareness of their own self-interest that they are in that 41 percent (or were before the most recent article on his attitude toward serving was published)?

If it's true what Trump is said to have said to John Kelly about serving as they stood by Kelly's son's grave in Arlington National Cemetery (where both of my parents are buried), how the hell could Kelly have gone on to be Trump's chief of staff? Kelly hasn't denied yet that Trump said that. What does this say about Kelly putting personal ambition over principle?

I have more than once had the thought running through my mind of being the person who has to set up the funeral and burial of Donald Trump as a former U.S. president. How in the hell are they going to be able to follow protocol on planting this bastard?

The military does have a constitutional role in the election. They have a responsibility not to help a defeated incumbent pull a military coup to stay in power. I would think that Trump and the board Trumpettes would realize that and take it into account as they dump on the military and our veterans. I've lived in countries that pulled a military coup to keep the constitutionally defeated incumbent in power. I know it can be done. But not when you have shit on the military and soldiers constantly.
