Losers

Yeah but people like Kyle Rittenhouse and Bad Egg will show up to protect Dear Leader, and they're way stronger than any military losers.

The military does have a constitutional role in the election. They have a responsibility not to help a defeated incumbent pull a military coup to stay in power. I would think that Trump and the board Trumpettes would realize that and take it into account as they dump on the military and our veterans. I've lived in countries that pulled a military coup to keep the constitutionally defeated incumbent in power. I know it can be done. But not when you have shit on the military and soldiers constantly.

It's someone like Kyle Rittenhouse who's going to pop Trump off. I've been there before too--in covering who did in the likes of As-Sadat, Indira Gandhi, Yitzhak Rabin, Benazir Bhutto . . . not to mention a previous president and presidential candidate or two. Ideologues push crazies over the edge.

Digging the hole deeper, (derper ?) until it is a trench-

September 5, 2020

Trump told reporters yesterday that he "called home" to Melania Trump at the time
and told her how upset he was for not being able to visit the cemetery.

At the time, the White House said he was unable to attend and had to cancel the visit
because of bad weather. (a lie, because others took their cars to the ceremony)
Trump had his motorcade fleet standing by.

Trump claims he "called home, I spoke to my wife and I said 'I hate this. I came here
to go to that ceremony.' And to the one that was the following day which I did go to.
I said I feel terribly. And that was the end of it."

Oh, that would be an excellent, impossible-to-check lie if Melania hadn’t been standing next to him.

Facts First: Melania Trump was on the same trip with the President and was scheduled
to attend the cemetery visit. She was not in the US.

A readout from the first lady's office at the time said that "Due to inclement weather,
the First Lady and President were unable to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery
and Memorial in Belleau, France."

That evening, Trump and Melania went to a dinner together hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Aldous J Pennyfarthing's sarcastic aside-

"To be fair, it’s possible Trump called home to Washington, D.C.,
or Florida, to talk to a mistress."
