First off, I didn’t put my narcissism away.

Secondly, you’ve got to fucking me kidding me. I paid homage to Papa Chained. His thread was great. He hadn’t been around, so I started running it. It did really well and people were interacting. Chained came back and took back over his thread. It was his thread and always was. He asks questions very differently than I do. They’re often very dry and introspective. He also doesn’t like a lot of fun going on in there. It’s a running joke and everyone knows that. I participated in that thread for years. Fuck, I am the one that nicknamed him Papa Chained and the Fun Police/Vampire/Sucker.

Thirdly, let’s all grow the fuck up. I copied his thread in a VERY obvious way. You realize you’re legit chastising me for copying a thread. A thread. On a sex forum. Where people have free will to come and go as they choose. I literally put LOOT in the name and spelled it slightly differently.

Lastly, I wasn’t around hardly any last week and since Chained has been back. Check my posting history. I participated in that thread while I was there the first few days. I will likely participate in today’s question, as it relates to space travel which interests me. But a lot of the other questions were just snoozers for my taste. Not for others, but for me. Now, I like some childish shit. But for fuck’s sake... white knighting on behalf of a grown man because I stole his thread idea (not even his thread)?

This isn’t some intellectual property that I stole. It’s a spoof of a thread that I really liked. And Papa Chained had a great idea for a thread and he has run it well. But he’s not always around. So, there’s this one for when he’s not. If you don’t like it, that’s cool.

It’s also a place where the original poster isn’t trolling for new pussy.

Would you like me to ask a mod to change the name? Would that make it all better? I’m not going to, just curious if it would help.

I sure as fuck hope you all don’t drive anything but a Ford. Or have a cellphone other than a Motorola. Otherwise you’re promoting theft!

Pmann resurrected the Litiquette thread over the last couple of months by asking questions and keeping the conversation going - drawing old Litiquetters and new posters, too. Then Papa C came back (after a looong absence) and started asking questions again once the thread gained momentum. Which is fine - it is his thread, after all.

My take is that Pmann started this thread as an avenue for him to ask his own brand of questions without stepping on Papa C's toes.

Or maybe he's being a narcissistic asshole. That's always on the table. But I don't think he has bad intentions.

I took the title as a Pmann style homage to Litiquette.

I also don't mind there being two threads. Litiquette is Papa C's baby, but he does take off on a regular basis. Two threads takes the pressure off the OP while still allowing for at least one daily question.

Kinda agree with Suz about the lack of bad intent.


Of course, I'm also on entirely on board with the P being a narcissist.

I think some people’s perception of me is that I’m a super confident person, both professionally and personally. Where in reality I have “Imposter Syndrome” and often question myself, over analyse and overthink most things. Someone said “like a swan gliding on a lake but paddling really ungracefully underneath”

I guess I would say that lots of people have had different perceptions of me on here, and Some have been true and some not...I guess, like most people, I wish people would get to know me before judging, but honestly no one has time to get to know everyone on a forum, so that is impossible...

Some of my dearest friends from here didn’t like me initially based on perception and then got to know me And then we formed close friendships, and I am thankful for that...

As for changing, that is not possible for me...I am me, warts and all...I know I am not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s ok too...

Just my 2 cents. I laughed a little when reading Pmann's intro on this thread. Typical Pmann. I didn't see anything said that was dissing Chained or that he was trying to steal his thread. As far as I can see, he just made a different Q & A thread. I see no reason why anyone should get upset about that. I think people perceive me as overly sensitive and whiny and to be fair I really am both...I have always been “too” sensitive and get my fragile feelings hurt too often. I’m also a loudmouth and stubborn as hell.

There are many facets that make up who I am and everyone I’ve ever interacted with has a different version of me in their minds and that’s fine. I think my character stands for itself in the long run. If you take the time to actually converse with me, you may find things that change your opinion of me - for better or worse
