That's the problem with most Mother and daughter relationships..the daughters are spitting images of their Mother's so they clash in 10 folds.

Just spoke to my Momma and then my daughter on the phone today, my lawd it's scary how much the 3 of us are alike. No wonder we can't all live under the same roof.

I left home at age 16, knew it all (yearight) but lost touch with my momma over the years. went back home after 5 years being away cept calls here and there. I couldn't live with my momma again lawd we were gonna kill each other and the daughter/grand daughter as well. Last 3 months and I was back out on my own with my brat. BUT I will say over the years my relationship with her has grown so much. I can now appreciate her in a whole different light, and love her more now than ever.

I just hope mine feels the same way when she reflects back as i sit in a nursing home looking out the window gumming the pane loaded with lead from the faded paint and my diapers filled with crap. (not that my Momma's in a home mind you! Just gonna take my kid that long till chit sinks in!)

It's true that the more things change the more they remain the same huh. Yeah I know, absolutely cliché, but it's a universal truth nonetheless.

Thanks Sin for reminding me how lucky I am to be like my mom and for having a daughter just like me...now I'll stop before I end up like a blubbering fool and flood you with my tears.

My momma became a trucker I think around the age of 34, her and my step dad were coast to coast drivers. She could run with the best of some of those most fowl mouth drivers, but she was and always will have class and be a lady first and foremost.

I've heard some words fly from her mouth that would have made a sailor blush crimson. But, for some reason on those rare occassions it always sounded like she said it with class.

My momma's like 5'2 short little woman that needed blocks on the pedals of the rig to drive down the highway..-chuckles- but always stood tall no matter what. I think after all the years of being a slave to my real dad, she grew free of those chains and became a very strong independant female, and i'm proud of her.

She said when she reflects back at all the bullshit, arguements and fights we got into, they now make her laugh, and lawd knows we had some doozies. BUT, I never disrespected her...

You look at kids these days...

They don't hold doors open for others, or say thank you and your welcome..You hear them mouthing off to their mother's in public. I'd have been handed my ass on a silver platter in fleshy strips if I'd have done that. Being from the south and raised in a D/s home, you had manners reguardless. She made sure of that!

I'm proud of my daughter there, she does hold doors open, helps others with grioceries to the car, ect ect all the things that make her into a young beautiful lady. BUT, she has a mouth like a sailor at times..she's a gemini, i guess I couldnt expect anything else.

Speaking of Mother's, that special day is coming up soon.

Nothing wrong with being proud of yout child/children lawd knows a have a friend that wishes her's were NOt hers, they are a handfull or two..six. She loves them dearly but their outta control. She had her first at 15, 2nd at 17 and third at 19, and was married at 16 BTW. Too young I know but she didn't believe in abortion. Anywhozits...an example of her oldest..who is now 16, stole the car, crashed it up into two others, and was with his friends drinking. Soo..who pays the price? Parents..cus the judge said somebody needs to, and Jr. isnt working.

The middle one, she just has a thing with the internet and older men...which is why my friend no longer has the internet. She tried all the parental things and they kids would figure out a way around them.Kids are smart when it comes to the net!

The youngest one..he just doesn't listen. When everyone's assleep he does chit like trying to flush loaves of bread down the toilet, play chase the hamster with the cat...watch the cat eat daddy's expensive fish as he picks them out of the tank for the cat.

She whacked her yougest with her hand on his ass, not hard no mark but the school called child services in her area.She told them to come take them, she needed a vacation!

I listen to her via phone and Im so glad my daughter is the way she is, and didn't give me all that much BS. She gave me enough but, it could have been worse.
