My legs are giving way under me. If nothing has changed tomorrow I'll be going to the hospital so, if you don't see me for a few days, don't worry. It'll be because I've stopped being stubborn and decided I couldn't deal with the pain anymore.
I'm not a doctor--don't even play one on TV--but I'll swear under oath that a drug called Actiq (an oral form of fentanyl citrate) does wonderful things for pain that morphine or dilaudid can't handle, and it's also far less addictive. It was compounded specifically for cancer patients but many physicians are prescribing it for other types of severe pain. You might want to "suggest" that your doctor write you a scrip for the lollypops (preferable) or for the time-release fentanyl patches. If he/she refuses, you've got friends who can whip any doctor two falls out of three!

..I was hoping to hear you say you were getting better...::hugs::.. I do hope they find out what it is, and it's nothing major. I know all about being stubborn, sometimes it isn't the best way to be, and this is one those times. I could have said I'd come spank you if you didn't go
