To answer another question, I've never been to SE asia, but I'd like to because it seems friendly. Maybe that's just the way I see it from the outside, but I love to travel and find out for myself. I can't say that there is anywhere specific, just a general through of travel through the region, find some beaches, see some sights, meet some people.

I've been too Borneo, Laos, Vietnam and China. Laos was definitely a great country in terms of nature. Waterfalls and the people where amazing. Vietnam was a bit disappointing because of the hassling from sellers. Not understanding no. Borneo was great for scuba diving in the reserves. China can definitely get another visit. Such a huge country. I absolutely love asian cuisine. Could eat dumplings every day.

Many many places that offer scuba diving, many offer padi too.

not receiving a reply should be a huge hint, especially if never chatted before.
many guys are very sore about it though, they go on and on about it (for months!) in the chat rooms too...bad-mouthing and basically being so childish. tons of others in the so-many chat rooms, just find someone else to chat with, no need to be nasty or be a nuisance, you know?

Usually, visitors do the Myanmar-Laos-Cambodia triangle in one trip; also many fly-in through Bangkok, interesting that you didnt on both counts!

It's pretty hard to keep up a sharade online. As you will be caught out eventually. Find its better just to be yourself.

Flying from South Africa you mainly go Singapore and then you fly from there. Not so big in the touristy areas. Would rather be off the beaten path. Enjoy the locals and get a more real experience

NG -No biggy, but why be in chats if you don't reply? Why are PMs a problem? Are women too inundated with chats?? Generally speaking, in your opinion would you think women receiving PMs are looking for something specific and filtering by profiles or lame PMs. There aren't a lot of photos posted by users so would lack of profile detail or the wrong detail be the problem? Should I be punching up my profile with my favorite colors and zodiacs? I suppose these questions are for any woman reading this, not just you Asian2015. Just curious.

NG - I suppose if the person never plans to meet they may just be creating a persona to maximize interactions. It doesn't make much sense to me to lie though if you're going to meet. I learned from previous online experience that some members of both sexes still lie even when meeting is the goal.

NG - For the most part, I've written stories here and read a bit too. I primarily began writing to share some of my most memorable and uncommon experiences. I figured it was better than blurting them out to friends after too many drinks. Which has happened. At least some readers seem more appreciative and I feel less regret the next day. I still try to draw inspiration from experience, but over time my stories have become more augmented with imagination to increase interest - trying to get those favorites and good ratings.
I've only in the past week discovered chat. I'm loving it, but feeling it's cutting into productive time. Hopefully, the thrill will decrease. It may already be waning - thanks to those non-replying women and those routing me to their blogs;-) ​

I loved it! Too many things to mention. What I didn't like: All the work - there wasn't much chance to see enough of Thailand. Also the too common necessity of not paying until goods or services were delivered. Generally needing to be on guard for rip-offs.

NG - Writing and hopefully improving as I go. Also the reconfirmation in chat and in response to my stories that there are always counterpoints out there that will match up with one's interest, no matter how unique.

NG - I'm middle-aged, fit, with brown (greying) and green eyes. I do project work for a living and love to travel. I like conversations that eventually intersect with themes in my stories and discover curiosity or interest. Since you invited me to comment, and you would like to keep this interesting thread alive, I will offer my experinces.

1. No, never met anyone from here in person.
2. When I send a PM, I do at least have high hopes of getting a response. I try only to send a PM to someone where we have either had some interactions on a thread, or I think I can offer a response tailored to something that she said. I am a little disappointed if I get no response, but in your words, it is not a biggie.
3. My profile contains a few misleading statements, not to change my character so much as protection against being identified in real life. What is the point of annonymous communications if one cannot be honest about things that one might need to conceal in real life.

1. I don't think so. Its great in fantasy, and I have had a couple of discussions with friends about the possibilty, but I am married, and I would not do it unless the circumstances were such that it would not endanger the marriage. I have established limits on what kinds of contact I would have ouside of the marriage, too. (Note - honesty, even if it makes me sound like a scumbag).
