It's her choice to reply. I'd prefer a "Sorry, I'm busy", but due to volume of PMs, that's not realistic. Then again, I try not to PM unless we've already established communication.

To increase their odds of being accepted. Or, to appear to be the person that they want to be. That second one is probably more of why women lie, as well.

It's much better this time around (I was on briefly years ago). Women seem more real and less...evil.

If no one disagrees with you, you're doing something wrong.

I think you have to be clear about what you expect from on-line sites...
- I've met women with no expectation (or real interest) for sex
- I've met women with the very clear understanding that sex was on the table

On both situations, being honest about it beforehand made it clear once we met what would happen. And that honesty made it easier to move (or not move) into sex. And it was as good as expected.

I send a PM if I'm asked to send a PM. So, a response is appreciated. While slightly annoying, I know that the women to men ratio makes it a needle in a haystack and a drinking from firehose effort for the women, so, well.. understandable.

Depends on what you're lying about? Likely the main one is specifics on who you are - protecting from scams, bots, catfish, and the like. I would wager most also are after the fantasy, what they *think* they want or are missing.. so that plays to the forefront. People want to pretend they are something they are not - or think that the something they are not will be more attractive to who they are pursuing.

So-so. Aside form one or two women, it's usually a dark hole. Stories are excellent, and I've volunteered edited a bunch. Chat now and again.. but that's like screaming into the void sometimes as well.

Yes - lovely place. Was due to head to a number of countries there right as the pandemic hit, so those plans got canceled. But have been to Singapore, and a quick stop in Hong Kong so far.

Hope it's not too late to answer the questions and get your attention

1. No, I didn't meet any lit-ster and I would meet if the chat goes well and I feel comfortable about the meeting.
2. Usually I don't expect replies cuz I believe "Expectations bring forth disappointment". So that way even if I get reply I would be happy to chat else if I didn't get replies I will feel normal cuz that's what I expected.
3. From my perspective I think guys just think that lying about something's makes the girl feel better and they could confess the truth later but eventually nothing happens or the girl bursts cuz she heard the lies from the guy.
4. Lit is pretty good I guess cuz it has a lot of stories and stuff. I just like reading and I get some replies from others when I PM them which is pretty good.
5. I'm actually from south Indian (Bengaluru in specific). I like the tourist places a lot and I really hate the strict systems of our traditions and how women are actually treated in here. But there's been a lot of good improvement now a days .

Totally strange.. one group of teenagers, another group of 20-40 somethings. Obviously all a bit geeky. Grilling burgers and hot dogs at a local park.

I have met one local Litster and we became friends.. it was a good situation.. I was supposed to holiday in SE Asia this summer but covid put a delay on it till prob next year or maybe this winter at least... I was planning on traveling to Thailand prob Phuket mostly but i will explore a few areas to see as much as i can.. as well as maybe a couple days in the phillipines if i work it out..

How have I never replied to any of these?

I have indeed met a handful of litsters in the past. I can't say there were a huge impact on my life, I haven't heard from any of them in a long time. That being said, I think that the main thing that prevents that kind of in person connection is that I'm not usually looking to meet more people in my 40's. I feel like, right now, this is the circle of people around me and I'm not looking to expand on it.

Conversation though, online, is always welcome and why I *do* come here.

That probably leads into PMs. I don't really ever expect an answer from people, but I can think of three kinds...

I've dropped PMs just to compliment something about the person that struck me, just kind of a 'nice shoes' kind of thing to hopefully make that person smile. I might get a thank you, but really, those are just the kind of thing I hope makes someone a little happier.

I've dropped PM answers to something that a person might have asked or said that I wouldn't want to embarrass them or might be too personal to answer in the room. Again, unless that was a direct question, it probably isn't going to be answered.

Finally, there are PMs I drop to friends, usually it's a situation where we know each other well enough, that the conversation isn't of interest in the room.
