Eyes :devil:

Let's play with finding new words for the type ones

You can pick any word in the thread to play with, you don't have to the one directly head of you.

Now that I'm getting a following, change the rules a little. I will post a word or phrase of the day to be worked over

Would you come to play if we change the thread to just playing around with different words.

I've always used azure in place of blue when needed.

You're welcome! :rose:

Thanks

Maybe it is me, but how does Hair equal Suggestion, Shadow, Shade, Whisper, Ghost
:confused:

That is cool to do. To have something to look at instead of roaming aimlessly.

Bright piercing blue eyes?

...her eyes were like the sky the morning after a storm, brilliant blue peeking through a hole in the cloud cover...

Thanks, that is a great way to say it. Never thought of James MacArthur of having eyes the color of the sky. {sorry, I'm a big fan of his}
:eek:

You're welcome, I like the challenge of phrasing things differently.

:confused:

Suggestion=subtle pointing out, a barely preceiveable indication, a slight amount,

Shadow=slight amount...like:shadow of a doubt

Shade=a slight variation between nearly identicle entities, a barely preceiveable indication, and also a slight amount -also
Informal. To make a slight reduction

Whisper=a slight amount....like: barely there

Ghost=a slight amount...like: a ghost of a chance

Now I understand how you are using the word HAIR. I will have to put that into consideration when I'm writing in the future.

I guess I would think of the ways one describes the hair on are heads. ;)

We were laughing about which meaning you ment for hair. my first instict was hair on the head and we decided to give you all the ways and meanings you could use the word just incase HAIR on the head was not the description you wanted...

Smiles- ...her smile faded in as the morning sun cresting the horizon...
Ravenousness- ...voraciousness, greed, gluttony...
Looks- gazes, stares, appearances, visions
Hair- depending on the color

..a golden waterfall cascaded down her shoulders...

or

...raven locks flowed, framing her face in ebony perfection...

or

...her auburn tresses encircled her face...

Hair is the most challenging for me, it's almost entirely absent from my writings...
