I am looking for stories with a maritime setting - on board yachts, cruise ships, any kind of vessel, or in abandoned lighthouses. Anybody know where I can find such stories? Even better, have you written one? Let me know. (Yes, Perdita, even on a gondola!) Thanks.

There's several

One that is particularly good by Ronde... "Cruising on the Jenny Cole" http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=109728

I wrote one that has a boat "scene" called the Beach ch2

There was a really good one I think called "The Neighbors Daughter" but I cant find it for you. And I remember a lesbian story about a couple of women on a boat that ended when one of them broke her leg and had to be flown out that was really good but I can't even remember a single word of the title.

Good luck in your search

Thanks very much damp panties. Looks like I will be up late now looking through those lists. I appreciate your assistance.

Then maybe you'd like these submarine stories too. The first one in the submarine stories is a keeper. :)

Not only a keeper but also eligible for every holiday contest.

You could try my story, "The Gift", although I have to admit that most of the sex happens on an island after the boat blows up! Be warned, it runs to four Lit pages . . .

Clay, before you read the story MG recommended, I urge you to make sure you have the following items close by:

  • a barf-bucket
  • a bottle of cheap scotch
  • a teddybear.

You'll be glad you listened to me.

Hmmmm. Nautical story?

Images of men confined together for months, even year, in the cramped crew quarters. Living in the most deplorable conditions, in dire need of companionship. Hormones raging, cocks at the ready waiting for any unsuspecting shipmate who happens to drop the soap. Some even resorting to such diabolical plans as leaving a $20 bill lying on the deck in the Mid-Ship's passageway.

Well... Sounds writable anyway

My epic tale, "The Ravishing of Constance," has several chapters set on board ships, and there's pirates and such. But I am the first to admit that when it comes to matters nautical, I mostly just made stuff up ;)

Better to make up the nautical activity than the sexual.

Well, if truth be told I had to make up a lot of the sexual stuff too ... there's goings-on in that story I have never and probably would never try in real life ;)

My story Captive Hearts is set mostly aboard apirate barque if thats helpful.

A barque, or a barquentine? Just curious.

A barque :)

It's a spanish contrivace that was developed for sailing in the carribean. Very few made the trip across the atlantic because they weren't particularly seaworthy for long deep ocean voyages. They are basically sloops with a slightly deeper draft and a combination of square and fore and aft rigging. They could operate in shoals areas with far less risk than merchantmen, but could carry more than a sloop. They were favored by pirates operating out of Tortuga beacuse they were faster and more manuverable than most merchant vessles, but could escape into the wind better than most ships-of-the-line and frigates. You could also cram more men on them than you could a sloop or pinnance.

Maybe I should write something nautical...

After all, I worked on the Great Lakes as a First Class Pilot for over twenty years. LOL

Would under water count?

Would under water count or are you looking for just boats and such?

Ever since the movie came out, I've been hearing about "Master and Commander" slashfic, so there must be a reasonable amount of it out there by now. That may not be what you have in mind, however. :)

I'm currently listening to the audio book version of the first "Master and Commander" book, writing a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic (and just got the DVD), and watched a chunk of Horatio Hornblower last night. I will probably dream of cannons today ;)

Sound like you got something going here. But instead of the Gay turn, the boat crew ends up Rescuing a women who ends up wishing she wasn't. I kind of like the idea of the Navy’s' first women’s Submarine and opps. this guy gets on by accident cuz his name is Tracy or Kelly or something like that. then before they could Fix the Problem cuz he has a Job on the ship they can’t do with out. They all get called to war. And they are deployed for Months. and He's got to like Shower with them and all that.
