I want someone to look at a 3000 word draft for a story I'm working on. Setting is Science fiction/fantasy world written in first person, present tense.
It's basically just a prologue and a swordfight. Well, not really a swordfight, just a fight involving swords.
It feels terribly off to me and I want someone to point out mistakes and/or give me some pointers to make it more interesting.
