Looking for an older reconciliation story

I know, I know. Reconciliation…

However for the past month this three part series that ended up in reconciliation has been running through my head and for the life of me I can’t find the story through search, google and just link following.

The premise of the story is that they are a couple living in New York. she is in marketing and he was in IT until he lost his job. She then starts to treat him like crap and having an affair with her boss, going as far as treating him like a servant during a work function in their apartment.
He gets a job on the other side of the country and leaves. She ends up pregnant (with the bosses baby) and tracks down her husband begging for forgiveness.

I am not sure why this is stuck in my head, but it is. Does anyone know the story I am describing above?

On his bio, the author says he is rewriting it. I'm guessing he is changing the ending. Shame, I thought it was fine.

Considering the Husband takes her back while she's preggers with the Boss's baby, yeah I can see why he wants to rewrite it. The guy in the story was breaking away and rebuilding himself...only to throw it away at the end. Stories like that don't sit well with a good chunk of people.

Thanks for that, I'll look forward to the rewrite and see how it occurs. I've enjoyed quite a few of his stories, still I have no idea why it's been stuck in my head but it has, more than likely because I couldn't find it

I'm totally relaxed as its no skin off my back. What I'm trying to understand is how this its considered erotic? Which is generally the angle people go for to read these stories. Anger porn maybe? Some stuff you just don't understand, and so I ask questions.

Sometimes I like it when a person who has dug themselves an outrageously big hole gets a second chance.

I know the story, Wife has Regrets, it annoyed the hell out of me, the ending was just so awful.
I hope Lover1953 rewrites the ending so that the MC is not such a spineless wimp who just cops what she wants.
Other2toOther1 you write excellent stories, can you write one like this and see that proper justice is done?
