Is this the right place to find answers about writers and stories?
I'm looking for good quality stories involving submissive males. By 'good quality' I mean well written with good spelling and grammar.

I'm also looking for stories in any genre by near-professional quality writers.

Can anyone guide me to writers who meet these criteria?

Well finding 'good quality' writing is tricky. My advice is once you find an author whose style you like, then go and read the rest of their stories. You can also have a look in that author's 'favourites,' as good writers tend to be pretty picky and will usually have chosen only those writers whose work really is worth reading.
As for submissive male... do you need it to actually be a BDSM story, or would, for example, 'first time' males suit as well? If first timers would be ok, then you could have at look at Ch.01 of my 'A Bad Influence' series (link to my stories below) but I haven't written any BDSM with submissive men.

If you check the thread at the top of this page, it is a place for Lit authors to advertise their professionally published works. Most of those stories won't be on Lit because the publishers want exclusive rights, but you can check the member pages of those who've posted. It's a good place to find professional quality writers.

Where do I find author's favorites?

No, it doesn't have to be BDSM, but stories where the female is mostly dominant. Gentle FEMDOM, maybe. I don't like heavy abuse stories. Cuckold is okay if it's not cruel.

If you click on the author's name it should take you to a profile about them. At the top will be some tabs and one of them will say 'favourites' on it. Click that and voila!

Click on Author's Hangout and it will take you to the list of threads in the AH forum. The first thread is the one Minuse had in mind.

For submissive males you might want to check out the "Loving Wives" category. The name's a bit deceiving since the bulk of the stories are about cheating wives, many with wimp and/or submissive husbands.
