looking for a story

it started out with a girl preparing to jump off a bridge at night. a guy saw her , and to stop her, he asked her for a date. he had never been on one, and she agreed to go with him. they spent the night together, and i did not finish it all the way. i think the title was something to do with "dawn." any help will be appreciated. you may contact me by email if you wish.

No, nakdsub, that's not it, but thanks. It was a contemporary story. A guy finds a girl on a bridge and talks her out of jumping. They then spend the night, and perhaps part of the next day or all the next day together. I'd say more but I don't want to spoil it for the OP, who said he hadn't finished it. I searched myself yesterday but couldn't find it. I'm not even sure what category it was in, although I'd think it was Romance.

I know exactly the story you mean, and it was a very good one. I'm not sure what category it was, but I think it was at least a finalist in one of the annual awards. Pretty sure that it was written from the first person perspective of the young man in the story.

What's driving me nuts is that I'm pretty sure that at one time I had it on my favorite story list, but let it go when I thought the number of stories you could have was limited.

I've tried several different searches to find it, without success. Rats!

i finally found it by google. it's "till dawn" by author 3113, who still maintains a presence on literotica. he/she moved their romance stories to a pay site. there is a link to show what it is on their bio page.....thanks for your help guys....
