Many many years ago (early 2000's), I flipped through a BDSM paperback in a bookstore and really enjoyed the text. I didn't buy the book because I was too embarrassed to check it out from the store's clerk. But the title stuck in my head. The Captive's Journey by Richard Manton.
Fast forward to present day: this novel is very much out of print. It is for sale on Amazon/various other sites for $25 or more. There's a website (not linking here for reasons that will become obvious) that sells an ebook of this novel, but it also sells vintage adult ebooks where the characters are minors. The kind of stuff that I cringe to look at.
I am hoping against hope that someone will have a copy of this book (in ebook form) or know where I might find it. I've made a request on a ebook library website that I just discovered recently through Reddit; this library just so happens to have a couple titles from the same author (or the same pseudonym). But I thought I'd ask here as well. No harm in asking?
