Long weekend - what are you doing?

This is our Thanksgiving Day weekend, and I know that the Yanks Columbus Day on Monday.

Anyone have any fun weekend plans?

We're going to the cottage for the last time this year. Hopefully the leaves will be perfect. I love walking in the forest in the fall.

Vacation days? I'm retired from an office and self-employed at home. I've lost track of most of the standard holidays, as every day is both a working day and whatever time off I want to take. Just came back from a week at the beach. We travel when most everyone else is pinned down by school or regular work weeks.

I will be busy nonstop tomorrow. Sunday will be calmer, and I'm likely to get all swept up in The Walking Dead. Monday is a work holiday, but I'm behind so I an to work till noon.

Tonight was another fall fair. I got a dozen mini donuts, of which I have had 3. I promise myself I will not eat them all during the night. It's gonna be a long night with them looking at me...worse cause I have tea.

Back on topic. Tonight I do a respite stay. Tomorrow I sleep for a few hours and then it's dinner 1 of 3. Sunday I close up the camp for winter, then 2 of 3. Monday I picked up a 6hr shift starting at 6am....cause this single mom can't turn down $30 an hour. Then I take my kids to the pumpkin patch and see some friends on the farm, pet some baby goats, etc and then 3 of 3 and I will be ready to DIE. Ugh. Got I hope they don't serve turkey at each one.
